Leo Calle’s culinary journey began in a tiny NJ kitchen with a view of the NYC skyline. His earliest memories include preparing traditional Colombian favorites with his mother.
During his adventures as private chef, Chef Leo has cooked for A-list celebrities and their families, catering in-flight meals on clients’ private jets, and inspired young chefs with CulinaryCorps.
Chef Leo graduated from the Institute of Culinary Education with an externship at Michelin Star restaurant, Gramercy Tavern.
He enjoys volunteering for NJ-based Local Share, City Harvest in NYC, and he has volunteered alongside celebrated chefs at the James Beard House.
